Chillicothe's "Back the Blue" Annual Awards
On May 19th the Chillicothe Police Department held their 4th Annual “Back the Blue” dinner at Grecian Gardens. This was originated by Dave Hirtz along with other citizens of Chillicothe to honor the Chillicothe Police Officers and their families.
This year the following awards were given out:

Officer Dustina Stevens
Officer receiving lifesaving award:
Officer Kellie Hesterberg
Citizen of the Year: Darlene Kumpf
The dinner was also their annual awards night for the department. Awards are nominated by officers and their honors board makes the final decision on the awards.
