The Chamber’s April Membership Luncheon was a special one.  Once a year, we partner with the city to present the annual Chamber Awards and the City’s Civic Awards.  The lunch was held at the Chillicothe Public Library and catered by Castaways.  Geiger True Value Hardware was awarded the Chamber Business of the Year and Three Sisters Park won the Chamber Non-Profit of the Year.  Congratulations to both!

Our April Open House showcased Novel Electronic Devices.  The event included a ribbon cutting celebrating their 30th anniversary as a business here in Chillicothe.  Our May Open House will be held at the Top of the Hill Farm event center on May 10th.  Hope to see you there!

These events are open to the public and have snacks, door prize, and no admission fee!  The events allow member businesses to showcase their place of business, and it’s a networking opportunity for all.

We are beginning the planning of our biggest event – Chillicothe Days and the Carnival – June 12 through 15.  Along with the carnival, there will be entertainment on the City Park Stage and on Chestnut Street by Gilmore’s.  Events include the Mr. Chillicothe Contest, the Miss Chillicothe Contest, Chillicothe Princess & Junior Princess Contest, a silent auction, a wife carrying race, superhero contest, a talent contest, a trivia contest, and a pie-in-the-face event.  Check out the Chillicothe Days Facebook page for a schedule of events and to download entry forms for the contests.  Lots of family fun!
