The 4th of July Fireworks Event Went Off With a BANG!
The 4th of July fireworks display for 2022 was another success in Chillicothe thanks to the generous donations of time and money from the community. 2,500 people attended this year’s event and $4,849 was raised that evening. Some people brought grills and their own refreshments and others enjoyed the concessions that were available, but everyone had a great time enjoying the evening outdoors among friends and family.
This year, the cost of the fireworks increased in cost by $3,000 and it’s going up even more for 2023. That means next year the cost will be approximately $30,000 and a 50% deposit is due in September 2022. If you have a generous heart, your donations would be greatly appreciated.
