It’s that time of year again…Back to School!  Here are a few important events that will be happening in the month of August in the IVC School District.
    August 2nd is registration day for new students and kindergarteners from 12pm–6pm. Online registration is open now for returning students.
    August 10th is Freshman Orientation from 7:45am–2:30pm. Please visit the guidance website for more information. (http://ivcguidance.blogspot.com/).
    August 11th is Back-to-School Night. Students will be able to meet their teachers, drop off school supplies, and set up their lockers/desks. The times for Back-to-School night are as follows:
• IVC High School: 6pm–7:30pm
• Chillicothe Elementary Center and Junior High: 5:30pm–7pm
• Mossville Elementary Center and Junior High: 5:30pm–7pm
• South School Elementary: 5pm–6:30pm
    Monday, August 15th is the students’ FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
    Friday, August 19th is IVC’s Maroon and Grey Night. Meet the members of IVC’s fall sports teams from 5:30pm–8pm.
    School Board Meetings will be held on August 9th (in the IVCHS Library) and on August 23rd (at South School).
    IVC District’s sports teams begin competition in August. Please visit the district website (www.ivcschools.com) and select your student’s school. The calendar will detail school events including game dates, times and locations. Please check regularly as dates and times may change.

• Thursday, October 6th: Skit Night and Bonfire
• Friday, October 7th: Homecoming Parade at 3pm & Homecoming Football Game
