Another option you have is the ability to submit personal announcements such as engagements, weddings, births, anniversaries, memorials, and more. I remember back in the day when the community newspaper was the go-to place to see my friends’ engagements or wedding announcements. Since that has gone away, it seems that now everyone uses Facebook. But, Facebook is temporary and to me, there is something special about being able to clip out your announcement and save it or share it. If you want to write the story yourself, that’s fine, too! You don’t have to be a “professional” writer to be able to contribute to the Chillicothe Hometown Voice. Your voice counts, too.
