Chillicothe Rotary News—October 2022

The Chillicothe Rotary not only benefits the Chillicothe area but also areas across the world. In the latest meeting, Rotary District 6460 governor, Bill Durall, presented to the local club. One of his passion projects is the Zambia farming project.
Through international Rotary clubs, American farmers held a full schedule of field days and taught skills and best practices to the farmers in Zambia to increase the crop yields. The American team leaders stay in contact with the Zambia farmers in efforts to continue teaching. The next round of funds are being raised for a planter and a simple equipment shelter.
At the end of Bill’s presentation the members of the Chillicothe Rotary donated $500 to the continued support of the Zambia farming project.
