The Chillicothe Voice

Letter from the Editor - November 2022

Oct 29, 2022 04:46PM ● By Ginny Molleck, Editor
October was filled with so many fun things to do in our little home town and it looks like the fun has only started when you look at the line-up for November!  You will see many things listed throughout this issue of the paper along with the calendar of events on our website at ChillicotheVoice.com.

But, along with the fun events that are offered, probably the most important thing you can do to support Chillicothe is to utilize all of our local shopping and services. It might be easier to shop online and may feel like you are getting a good deal, but what if it isn’t the good deal in the long run? Everyone wants to find the best deal out there, but we need to remember that online purchases don’t help grow our local economy. It’s the local businesses that help support our local events, help our non-profit organizations, and the taxes they collect support our city’s efforts to make our lives comfortable.

So, next time you find yourself driving past the local shops, stop in and look around, you might find just what you’re looking for. Let’s keep our small businesses thriving so our local economy stays strong.
