The Chillicothe Voice

Letter From the Editor

Dec 28, 2022 01:41PM ● By Ginny Molleck

When we started this newspaper last June with the prompting of some friends, I wondered if I would be able to find enough content to publish each month and then I wondered if we would be able to sell enough ads to support a few pages. Well, the word that I used wrong in that statement was “I.”  From the very first issue, the community has stepped up and each month freely contributes interesting information to be shared with our readers. All of the articles are written and submitted by volunteer writers—some are retired and enjoy writing, some are business owners, others fit in the time amongst their other endeavors. I’m grateful for their passion to bring more awareness of our awesome community and make this a community “VOICE.”

But, all of this wouldn’t be possible without the financial support of the advertisers you see in each issue. Because of them, our “few pages” quickly grew to be 16 pages and we were able to add a few more pages of color, too. Be sure to take note of each and every advertiser because they are just as important as the stories you read. And be sure to thank them when you call or visit them.

This newspaper has truly become the “VOICE” of Chillicothe and we are proud to be part of this tight-knit community.

Wishing you all a very Healthy & Happy 2023!
