Since 2016 Summer Camp Music Festival has raised funds for nonprofits in the Chillicothe area. A portion of each ticket sold during the music festival is reserved for the Community Foundation Fund. When applications are released after the music festival, nonprofits submit their applications and the Community Contribution Fund Board (Darbi Dietrich, Adam Leiner, Jeff Jenkins, and Amanda Oedewaldt) reviews each application to determine the donation amount. To date over $250,000 has been donated back into the Chillicothe Community.

On December 14, 2022 Ian Goldberg along with Darbi Dietrich and Taylor Maxwell distributed 25 awards to local area nonprofits. During the awards night at Odie’s on 2nd Street, Ian stated, “Once a year Summer Camp Music Festival brings in three to five times the population of Chillicothe. The Community Contribution Fund is an extension of the Soul Shine/Soul Patch Summer Camp initiative to promote sustainability, Native American Heritage History, composting, being good stewards of resources and getting involved with the community. We want to be good neighbors.”

Local area organizations receiving funding were Chillicothe 4th of July Fireworks, AMVETS Post 77, The Princess Closet, Freedom Paws Service Dogs Foundation, Chillicothe Optimist Club, Cub Scout Pack 3091, Boy Scout Troop 91, Peoria Casting Club, Junior Football League, Community Needs Agency of Chillicothe, Central Illinois Agency on Aging, Chillicothe Historical Society, IVC Band Boosters, Chillicothe Circle of Service, Pearce Community Center, IVC Rollers Club, Men of AIM/Christian Movie Central, Drew’s Plots Incorporated, Chilli Dawgs Wrestling Club, Cuddles with Kindness, Chillicothe Rotary, Shademakers organization, Blue Ridge Community Farms, and IVC Ghost Travel Basketball.
