IVC High School’s Theatre Department presents Disney’s the Little Mermaid

IVC High School’s Theatre Department proudly presents Disney’s the Little Mermaid, March 16–18 at 7pm, and March 19 at 3pm, in the IVC auditorium. Students have been rehearsing since early January, and are excited to present this classic fairy tale of a young mermaid who wants more than simply “flipping her fins.”  Ariel, played by Lydia Dutton, is torn between the world expected of her and the world she wants. The cast of 30 dances, sings, and brings colorful sea creatures to life in classic songs, such as “Under the Sea,” “Part of Your World,” and “Kiss the Girl.”  Director Amanda Bach is so proud of this cast for all of its hard work and hopes you all can attend.

Before Sunday’s matinee, there is a Mermaid Experience, where guests can meet the cast, sing along, make crafts, have a snack, and enjoy lots of photo ops. More info for that event can be found at https://sites.google.com/view/ivc-theatre-department/little-mermaid-experience-event. Registration is required for the event.

Tickets to the show can be purchased a half hour before each show at the door. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $6 for high school and younger.
