On March 15th, the Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce held the 2023 Chamber Awards luncheon at Pearce Community Center and lunch was prepared by FroSmokes Meatery of Lacon. Chamber President, Don White and Chamber Facilitator, Molly Crusen Bishop presented awards for the chamber: Certificate of Achievement, Business of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year, and Ambassador of the Year. Mayor Mike Hughes and Economic Development Director, Amanda Beadles presented two awards which are nominated and voted on by the City Council: Civic Achievement and Civic Volunteer.
