We at the American Legion Post #9 and the Planning Committee for this benefit, want to thank everyone that attended the Anita Vonk Ward Benefit how much your donations and sacrifices were appreciated. Because of your generous donations and support, we were able to far exceed our goals and expectations.

The day was filled with many activities; a huge bake sale, T-shirts, hats, and koozie sales, live music, over 200 dinners sold, and almost 200 gift baskets were raffled. The love and support that was shown, not only from the Chillicothe community, but the people that traveled from near and far and also the ones that donated from near and far, everyone rallied for the cause and these gestures were truly from their hearts. It was a very emotional day filled with tears, laughter, and thoughts of gratitude and it proved be a HUGE success!

Your kindhearted donations not only helped Anita Vonk Ward with her cancer battle, but also brought so many people together to show their love and support. It was absolutely amazing!

Anita and her family were beyond touched by the generosity and love that was shown!
