Here is what is happening on the IVC scene this May…

This month IVC will be saying “good-bye and best wishes” to a great group of seniors and “hello” to a much needed and anticipated summer break!  Below is a listing of major events that are happening this month to celebrate our IVCHS graduates.

Once again, thank you for your continued support of our spring sports and activities. Please see the IVC district website: www.ivcschools.com and select your student’s school and calendar to view the many events that are scheduled through the month of May. 

We will update you on the IVCHS Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fundraiser and prom in the June edition of the newspaper.

Other Important Upcoming Dates:

Wed., May 3: Early Release for School Improvement Planning (high school students are released at 10:45am) Spring band concert and awards at 7pm. 

Thu., May 4: Senior Sunset at 5:30pm on Taylor Field.

Fri., May 5: Spring Celebration during Lunch Hour—Bring money for food! MAP Testing Begins.

Sat., May 6: Chillicothe Fire Department Parade at 2pm—Celebrate 100 years of the Chillicothe Fire Department!

Mon., May 8: MAP Testing Continues.

Wed., May 10: Seniors’ Last Full Day of School. IVC Spring Choir Concert at 7pm.

Thu., May 11: Senior Check-Out Day begins at 8:30am.

Wed., May 17: Class of 2023 Senior Honors Night at 6:30pm. Last Day for IVC Preschoolers.

Thu., May 18: IVCHS Class of 2023 Breakfast, Graduation Practice and “Senior Walk” beginning at 8:30am.

Sat., May 20: IVCHS Graduation at 5pm. IVC Project Graduation (check-in at 9pm).

Tuesday, May 23, 2023: Last Day of School for Students—Early Release (high school students are released at 10:45am).
