The OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) Bradley University group visited Chillicothe on Friday, May 19th. They began with a tour of Shore Acres Park, viewed the Observation Tower at the Riverfront, and visited Historic Downtown, the Rock Island Train Depot, and Chillicothe Area Historical Society. They packed the house with lunch at Odie’s. The City of Chillicothe’s Economic Development Director, Amanda Beadles, gave talking points and a brief history of the area.
