June 2023 — Here is a wrap up of our last month of school…

IVCHS said “good-bye and best wishes” to a great group of seniors as they graduated on Saturday, May 20, 2023. We cannot wait to see all the great things they will do in life, and we anxiously look forward to meeting next year’s freshmen Grey Ghosts!

IVC Student Council would like to give the biggest thank you to our community for your support as we raised a record $31,468.80 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Students raised money by asking for donations door-to-door, held Krispy Kreme donut sales, sold dog treats, and held a wide variety of other fundraising events. Students then used their raised funds to celebrate by “purchasing” lunches by auction. Again, our parents and area businesses and restaurants were very supportive in donating lunches for this event! Chillicothe is the most giving community we know!

IVC held its prom at Ravina on the Lakes on Saturday, April 22, 2023, and everyone had a great time!  Thank you to the junior class for sponsoring such a wonderful event!

Lastly, Homecoming 2023 will be earlier than usual next fall. The Homecoming theme has been picked and plans are already underway. IVC’s Homecoming theme for 2023 is “Movies Through the Decades.”  If you would like to participate in the Homecoming parade, please contact the chairperson, Trevor Blount, to reserve your place in the parade. We would love to see as many clubs, organizations, businesses, and reunions in the parade as possible!  Please keep the following dates in mind as you plan ahead for the next school year.
