The Chillicothe 4th of July Fireworks Needs Your Help

May 31, 2023 11:47AM ● By Cathy Schultz

Some of you may not know this, but the Chillicothe 4th of July Fireworks is a not-for-profit organization. These fireworks are put on by donations only that are collected throughout the year. Last year’s cost to put on this spectacular event was $28,000. Not only is this for everyone’s enjoyment, but also to show our respect for this great country and what it stands for.

Over the last two years, costs have gone up and it has been extremely difficult to maintain this family event. We hope you will please take the time to make a donation to help continue the Chillicothe 4th of July Fireworks.

Donations are accepted at: Chillicothe Community Bank, 1007 N. 4th St., Chillicothe or you can mail your donation to the Chillicothe 4th of July, P.O. Box 487, Chillicothe, IL 61523. You will also see donation bins around town where you can make donations. And of course, we will be accepting donations at the gate the night of the fireworks!

We have two fundraisers this month. Join us for some fun and help us fund the fireworks:
