This is something you won’t want to miss! The Land of Lincoln Border Collies Association hosts an annual time trial at Three Sisters Park on July 7, 8, & 9! Dog handlers come out with their trained dogs to have them herd sheep in the west fields of Three Sisters Park. This event is family-friendly and open to the public this year at no charge! They will have several different classes of border collies throughout the day herding sheep on two separate fields. This is an outdoor event, so bring a chair and enjoy the weather. You will be amazed watching these handlers move their dogs around the fields to herd sheep! There will be a concession stand available for refreshments throughout the day as well as a few vendors with fun and interesting dog treats, jewelry, and T-shirts! Concessions and vendors will be available Friday from 11am–5pm; Saturday 9am–4pm; and Sunday 9am–3pm. Concessions will be open earlier on Friday morning as well.
