If you haven’t noticed, there’s a new 3-way stop sign in town on the corner of Cloverdale and 2nd Street. Jim Fennell, an area resident, talked with school bus drivers, and some of the neighbors about the bend in the road that can be hard to see around. He then brought their concerns to the City Council. After getting a petition signed by the area residents, he was able to convince the city that there was a safety concern that needed to be addressed. The stop sign is intended to slow down the traffic going around the bend in the road. This will help with the safety of the area children going to the park.
