It takes a village! Preparing for the Corn Boil is an ALL-HANDS ON DECK event! Incredible efficiency from Pearce Community Center’s Summer Camp kiddos and staff! Special thanks to Cliff at the Chillicothe IL VFW for providing the space for the corn shucking and helping with setup. The kiddos received treats from the VFW and Castaways for their efforts. 1,500 ears of corn were made ready for the Corn Boil held on July 20, 2023 in downtown Chillicothe.
