Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce Member Spotlight - Blue Ridge Community Farm

Blue Ridge Community Farm is a non-profit working farm for children and adults with disabilities in Chillicothe. Jim and Laura Sniff founded Blue Ridge Community Farm when their son Jimmy (24) who has autism was just 3 years old. For the past 21 years, the farm has welcomed thousands of visitors with disabilities, providing a unique farm experience that includes alpacas, donkeys, a horse, chickens, crafts, music, and hay rack rides—all at no cost for the participants.

Blue Ridge Community Farm holds a Fall Concert Series at the farm as a fundraiser for their programs. The concert series is open to the public, is free (donations gladly accepted), and is a great family event. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs/blankets, food, and drink. The concerts are held on Sunday afternoons from 2–5pm. For more information including concert dates and bands, visit www.blueridgecommunityfarm.org
