Here is what is happening on the IVC scene this September…

IVC students are back in action and looking forward to Homecoming 2023 in just a few weeks!  The Homecoming theme is “Movies Through The Decades.”  Please make plans to join us at IVC High School for class skits, athletic team introductions, and bonfire on Thursday, September 21st, starting at 6pm. On Friday, September 22nd, please join us downtown Chillicothe on 2nd Street for the Homecoming parade at 3pm. For those sports, clubs, organizations, and businesses who are in the parade, line up will begin at 1:30pm. Lastly, come support the IVC football team, cheerleaders, dance team, and band on Friday, September 22nd, as IVC hosts the Prairie Central Hawks in the 2023 Homecoming game. The game will begin at 7pm on Taylor Field. Don’t miss out! Thank you to the Chillicothe community for supporting the IVC Grey Ghosts!

If you would like to participate in the Homecoming parade, please contact the chairperson, Trevor Blount, to reserve your place in the parade. He can be contacted at [email protected]. Please reserve your spot by Sunday, September 17th, to allow the IVC student council members the time to plan for this event. IVCHS would love to see as many clubs, organizations, businesses, and reunions in the parade as possible!  Line-up for the parade will begin between 1:30pm and 2pm. Please keep the dates below in mind as you plan ahead for Homecoming 2023.
