Here is what is happening on the IVC scene this October…

Thank you again to everyone who participated in the Homecoming parade and supported IVCHS students during their Homecoming events. IVCHS students know that Chillicothe is a great place to live, and we feel the support of our community!

IVC High School students are once again hosting German exchange students this October! German exchange students from Koblenz, Germany will arrive on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 and stay in Chillicothe, Illinois through the morning of Tuesday, October 17, 2023. While the German exchange students are here, IVC’s German students and the German exchange students will participate in a family picnic as well as field trips to Peoria, Springfield, and St. Louis. IVCHS looks forward to sharing our educational experience with the German exchange students from Koblenz, Germany! 

Keep your eyes open for advertising for the upcoming blood drive, fall craft and vendor show, Ghost Chase 3K band fundraiser, and fall play.

Tue, Oct 17: German exchange students leave (morning).  IVC National Honor Society Banquet at 6:15pm in IVC’s Commons    

Sat, Oct 21: IVC Band performs at ISU for their state competition. Fall Craft and Vendor Show at IVCHS

Tue, Oct 24: Parent/Teacher Conferences from 4pm–7:30pm

Thu, Oct 26: American Red Cross Blood Drive at IVCHS (morning). Parent/Teacher Conferences from 4:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Fri, Oct 27: No School

Sat, Oct 28: Ghost Chase 5K Run/1 Mile Walk Fundraiser at Three Sisters Park
