The Chillicothe Rotary - November 2023
On Tuesday, October 10, 2023 the Chillicothe Rotary Club hosted a breakfast for the German exchange students during our meeting at Grecian Gardens. It was a wonderful time to learn about them, and for them to learn about us. About half of the students were familiar with Rotary International, or had Rotary clubs in their towns. Our local club made a donation to support some of their events while they were in town. During the meeting we collected donations for Pearce Community & Fitness Center Summer Camp program.
On Thursday, October 13th, The Rotary Club made a donation to the Pearce Community & Fitness Center’s Youth Programs. The supplies donated support the Summer Camp program. Rotary international has identified seven areas of focus in which supporting education and community development are included. Rotary clubs and members around the world engage in projects and activities related to these seven areas of focus to make a positive impact in their communities and globally.
