The 2024 Bald Eagle Days will be held Saturday February 10th at the Shore Acres Club House from 7:30am to 10:30am. Tickets are available from Lions Club Members, IVC High School (National Honor Society), Rotary Club, and are available at Chillicothe Appliance located in Historic Downtown Chillicothe. 

Events for the Day:

• Of course, Eagle Viewing can be done on the River at Shore Acres Park. There is also the Eagle Tower located at Cutright Park for Eagle and Wildlife viewing. No guarantees the Eagles will be around but with the ice on the river we stand a great chance!!
• A photograph contest is being held by the Chillicothe Public Library.
• The Peoria Zoo Zoomobile is scheduled to be on hand.
• The Audubon Society will be on hand with binoculars and educational items.
• A storyteller will be there for the kids.
• A Bald Eagle Video will be playing for all to enjoy.
• Wildlife photographer will have a wonderful display.

This event is Sponsored by the Chillicothe Rotary Club, The Chillicothe Lions Club, and the IVC National Honor Society assist in the event. 

The Lions Club collected 144 pairs of sneakers for recycling, and we will be doing this event again next fall. The Lion’s Club is always looking for members. Ask any Lion and we will tell you about all the fun you can have with us. Chillicothe Days will be coming up in June and we are hoping to have another great Mr. Chillicothe contest again this year!
