The Cellular Connection

One of my favorite books growing up was Black Beauty. This book depicts the journey of a beautifully bred and good spirited horse whose experiences in a variety of circumstances and many different owners, formed a horse’s life during a time before automobiles. I’ve often told my team I feel like I’m the Black Beauty of the human work world.

My work history began at age 10 babysitting a 2-week-old baby next door to the house in which I grew up. My current employer many moons later, is The Cellular Connection (VZW), and I would like to begin my true message here. This is the first time I have been in employment where I read the Core Values of the company and knew immediately I was a good fit for a long-term relationship with this company. Our mission is: At TCC, we believe our communities need more than just a wireless retailer and our employees want more than just a job. We are committed to making a positive and sustainable impact in the lives of our employees, customers, and communities. Our Core Values are wrapped around our five promises: Care, Connect, Be Authentic, Inspire, and Drive the Business. Our purpose is to passionately make a difference in the lives of our employees, customers, and communities where we live and work.

We support our communities through our corporate giving program, TCC Gives. If you are a local non-profit 501c3 with a project we can partner with to complete, come see us at one of our three local stores: TCC Peoria (4125 Sheridan Road), TCC WA (1873 Washington Road), and our very own TCC Chillicothe (226 N 4th Street). I look forward to partnering with you to make our communities better in addition to serving your cellular needs.
