It’s the month of March and we are ready for spring to arrive. But even if the weather doesn’t cooperate we have a lot to celebrate this month. Take a look at the calendar of events in the next column on this page of “What’s Happening in Chillicothe.”  We have some great events at Pearce to participate in, live music around town, and the annual Easter Egg Roundup at City Park to name a few. Since I’m a member of the Chamber Board, The Chillicothe Town Theatre Board, and a member of the Optimist Club, I know we have a lot more events in the planning stage for the upcoming months. Watch this paper to learn more about these events on the horizon.

Along with events and entertainment, we have great restaurants, unique shopping, home and auto services, legal and financial services, and so much more. This paper was created to not only let you know about the people and events we want to share with you but also to remind you of all the retail and service establishments that are right here in our hometown. As you read through this month’s issue, please be sure to make note of all the advertisers that support this paper and choose to use their services the next time you have a need. 

Our community has so much to offer us and many of us take so much of it for granted. But remember, it’s our friends and neighbors who operate these businesses and offer these events and they need our support so they are here when we need them.
