Beef & Bourbon Event
Apr 01, 2024 10:45AM ● By Jeremy ConradThe Pearce Foundation is proud to announce its 2nd annual Beef & Bourbon event on Saturday, May 11th. This wonderful fundraiser consists of a ticketed dinner event with a silent auction exclusive to event attendees. We are also doing an Online Bourbon raffle which is open for all to participate in! Raffle tickets can be purchased by scanning the QR code in our advertisement.
This fundraiser is about coming together to support a cause close to my heart. The Pearce Community Center has been a beacon in our community; a place where friendships are forged, talents are nurtured, and lives are transformed. The funds raised through the event and online raffle will fuel future enhancements, ensuring that the Center continues to be a place of growth, learning, and joy for all who walk through its doors.
None of this would be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. Their commitment to our cause and community is the foundation upon which the event stands. Please join me in expressing our deepest gratitude to each sponsor for their unwavering support: RLI, Spring Green, Alwan & Son’s Meat Co., ELM Companies, SmokinGhost BBQ, Sun Collectors, Kelly Lopotko w/ Edward Jones, Cam Parr w/ Country Financial, Blank Band Distillery, Better Banks, Stems by Allison, Sweetwater Kitchen & Cocktails, Gilmores Sports Bar, Owens Design Group, Basic ITS, Stanley Steamer/Hoagland Construction, CEFCU, Staley Lawncare & Landscaping. Their generous contributions are not just donations; they are investments in the future of our community.
The Pearce Foundation is an Illinois non-profit corporation operating under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Since its inception in 1995, The Pearce Foundation has distributed more than two million dollars to Pearce Community Center for major projects, remodels, and expansions. One highlight was the half-million dollar pool renovation in 2019 that made essential repairs to the pool roof, new paint on the pool, roof, and pool interior, and provided a new sauna. The Pearce Foundation is also a large supporter of the Youth Summer Camp, Youth P.O.W.E.R. Camp, and Before & After School financial aid program which supports low-income families in our community. The Pearce Foundation along with other community supporters provides these families the opportunity to send their children to these amazing programs while parents are at work.
