This issue marks the start of our 3rd year in publishing The Chillicothe Hometown Voice! This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the financial support of the advertisers that allows us to print and deliver this FREE “Good News” newspaper to your mailbox each and every month. In addition to the financial support, we are grateful for two special people who volunteer their time and expertise to interview and write about our “Hometown Heroes” and “In the Spotlight” features each month. Thank you Gary Sharp and Sherry Adams for giving us all the opportunity to learn more about these people that live in our community.

The Chillicothe Hometown Voice is truly a community publication. Unlike typical newspapers, we do not have reporters. The majority of the articles are written and submitted by residents and businesses here in Chillicothe. Sometimes we get suggestions of things we should include while other times, people will just email their information in hopes of it being included in our next issue. We welcome all submissions — that’s what makes this newspaper unique. It’s “By the Community.”  We simply use our skills to put it all together for your enjoyment.  

So, the next time you think of something that you believe should be in the paper, please email me the details and we will do our best to include it. And don’t be shy to write the article yourself and submit it along with any pictures. Our deadline is usually around the 15th of the month prior to the issue date. We welcome volunteer reporters!
