May 29, 2024 09:28AM ● By the City of Chillicothe
Welcome summer! The kids are out of school and this incredible community steps up to make it fun and enjoyable. The Brad Wallin Tournament finishes up, the pool opens, Tri2Beat MS Kids Triathlon takes place, the carnival arrives, the Downtown Thursday 2nd Street Market kicks off, and live music is in full swing. We are grateful to the organizations and businesses that put on these events that make Chillicothe a great place to live and visit.
Open Burning ended May 31st and will reopen in October. Utilize Moffitt Park landscape drop off area to dispose of landscape waste.
Driving a golf cart can be a fun and leisurely way to explore Chillicothe. To obtain an application and checklist of all that you need to register your off-highway vehicles go to www.chillicothepd.org/ohv. Fun fact: 80 Golf Carts and UTVs have registered with the City in May.
