This Is Our Town
As I drive through town, I marvel at what Chillicothe has to offer. We’re a flag waving, patriotic town complete with many churches, parks, and nonprofits willing to help. We have discount shops and secondhand stores like Sweet Finds, Looking for Treasures, Lela’s Resale Shop, Cool Thingz, or Helping Hands just to name a few.
If you need to make a repair or paint, we have Geiger True Value Hardware with all your necessary items, along with pets and pet supplies. You want to buy a unique gift? Chillicothe offers many options for gifts from unique shops like Stems By Allison, Cranberry Creek, The Tin Top Shop, Picket Fence, and several others. If you want antiques, Chillicothe has places like Callahan’s, The Mill, or the Little Shop of Hoarders. If you’re hungry we have options there, too. Many types of restaurants to fit your taste like The High Roller Cafe, Molly’s Pizzeria, Grecian Gardens, Odie’s, and a few more.
Chillicothe has a lot to offer to the area residents but none of this is possible without your help. Private businesses that we take for granted are all relying on your support. Imagine just a few of these businesses not being here and having to travel to Peoria for what we need. Please remember to shop and buy local as much as you can. These businesses not only pay taxes from their sales, they also generously donate to the community. Some even support this FREE publication that’s direct mailed to every household and business.
We’re fortunate to live in a town Like Chillicothe. Help keep our town strong by spending your money in our community.
