Do you love to kayak or canoe? For 22 years the Chamber of Commerce has worked with the local municipalities to hold the Henry Lacon Chillicothe (HLC) Canoe/Kayak Jaunt. On August 11th the trip begins at Henry Harbor at about 8:00 in the morning. You can drop off your rivercraft in Henry then park your car at the City docks at the foot of Walnut Street and take a bus to Henry. From Henry, you will have a light snack and head downstream to Lacon where participants take a break and enjoy lunch. The finish for the 15.4 mile trip is at Moontower at the public docks where participants can have a meal at MoonTower using a $5 coupon provided at registration. Sign up and take the challenge! Hopefully, the wind won’t be out of the south!
