The Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce held its 22nd annual HLC (Henry, Lacon, and Chillicothe) Canoe and Kayak Jaunt on August 11th.  This event had participants of all ages participating in many different colors and designs of canoes and kayaks. 

They started in Henry where the participants were given their shirts, water, and a snack breakfast.  After all the watercrafts were in the water, Don White (Chamber of Commerce president) released them and off they paddled to Lacon where there was a lunch waiting for their arrival.  Once lunch was finished, they boarded their small boats and headed for Chillicothe.  MoonTower, a restaurant / bar on the river’s edge, was the final stop.
