Hello Chillicothe,

We hope everyone had a great Summer. We had a social hour last month to try to recruit new members. We have three new members due to that event and one solid maybe. 

The Lions Club annual candy sale will be coming up this fall. This is our only other fundraising event besides the Mr. Chillicothe Contest. When you see us out and about, please donate and get some great Lions Club Candy. The sale is on the second weekend in October. We will have locations and times in next month’s article.

A little history on Mr. Chillicothe. This event started in 1986. 2025 will be the 39th year of this event. In 1986 $800 was raised. In 2024 $11,600 was raised. We have come a long way! The total raised in 38 years is $117,305. Great job Chillicothe! If you are interested in sponsoring a contest or entering let us know.
