Thank You From The 4th of July Committee

Now that we have had a much-needed break from 4th of July activities, we are going to begin planning the 2025 4th of July Celebration. The company we used for many years was sold. We had a new company and new people to work with and it was a learning curve. The show itself was good but the Grand Finale was not what it was from other years. We will begin to look into other companies and bids.
Having said that, we can’t say thank you enough to all the people who volunteered their time helping in one way or another. It takes a lot of effort to put this together and without your help, we would not be able to do it. Thank you to everyone who bought a pork chop sandwich, a 50/50 ticket, visited our vendors, donated in our donation buckets, mailed checks, or contributed in any other way. Every bit helps.
A special thank you to the City of Chillicothe, Chillicothe Public Works, Chillicothe Fire Dept., Chillicothe Township, Chillicothe Recreational Area, Chillicothe Park District, Chillicothe American Legion, Chillicothe VFW, Chillicothe Helping Hands, Ian & Jay Goldberg (Summer Camp), Chillicothe Foundation, Chillicothe Lion’s Club, Edward Jones, Atty. Mike Mahoney, Owens Design Group, Wendy and Steve Carver, Chillicothe Community Bank, Three Sisters Park, our local bars and restaurants, and the Chillicothe Police Dept. If we have failed to mention anyone, we apologize but your donation is so appreciated.
The fundraising is a year-long process. We are always looking for new volunteers and committee members. Once we schedule the next meeting, we will post the date.
