Chillicothe Circle of Service

Terri Lynn nut sales (and other goodies) begin in early November, and prices are the same as last year! This is our only fundraising project and raises money for scholarships for 2025 IVC graduating seniors. We expect products to be available at our vendors (Cutting Edge, Hair Masters, Plaza Cleaning, and Shear Grace) during their regular business hours the first full week of November. We’ll also be selling at Grecian Gardens from 9am-1pm Saturday and Sunday, November 9 and 10, and at Kroger and Pearce on selected dates. A full schedule of locations, dates, and times is available on the ChillicotheVoice.com calendar. We thank you for your support.
Partnering with the Chillicothe Foundation, Chillicothe Circle of Service has installed a Little Free Library (LFL) at the new “Play for All” area in Shore Acres Park. The LFL will be stocked (and restocked) with books for all ages to enjoy and is available 24/7. You may read a book while at Shore Acres, take a book home to read (and keep, if desired), or contribute books you no longer want. We hope this inspires both children and adults to spend time reading at no cost to them.
Eighty jars of peanut butter and sixty jars of jelly were collected at our October meeting and delivered by Mary Baker and Diane Vojta to Community Needs Agency for inclusion in their Christmas basket distribution. We’re always happy to support CNA and thank our members for their donations.
