Here is what is happening on the IVC scene…

On October 30th, IVC held a successful Red Cross blood drive. IVC would like to thank the community members who visited the high school to help us reach our blood donation goals. Each donation saves 3 lives!

A new group of IVC seniors were able to participate in the senior retreat in early November. There will be one more opportunity for seniors to participate in this event during the spring semester from March 5 – March 8, 2025. Mark your calendars!

IVC band and choir students joined the CEC Veterans Day celebration to honor our town’s veterans. It is a privilege each year to recognize Chillicothe’s veterans and thank everyone in our community who has served our country to fight for the freedoms that we enjoy every day. We would also like to thank CEC and Team TRRFCC for including IVC in their special assembly and memorial service.

Thursday, November 14 – Saturday, November 16, 30 IVC high schoolers performed in the play, “The End of the World (with Prom to Follow)” by Sean Abley. The IVC theater department would like to thank the Chillicothe community for the support of their performances. If you missed out on this production, mark your calendars for the spring musical which will be performed Thursday, March 13 – Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Friday, November 15, 2024 kicked off the winter sports season with Maroon and Grey Night at IVCHS. Winter sports teams were introduced, and season games will follow in the coming weeks. Once again, IVCHS thanks our Chillicothe community for your continued support as our winter sports and activities are underway. To access schedules for sporting events and activities, please see the IVC district website: www.ivcschools.com and select your student’s school and calendar to view the many events that are scheduled through the month of December. The website has some minor changes. To view sporting events, click the “More” button in the upper right corner of the IVCHS webpage and then click the “Athletics” button to view the calendar of daily and upcoming competitions. Go Ghosts!
