Cooking With Vickie Britton – Chicken Wings

Let’s make some yummy wings!


Ingredients

1 package of chicken wings (approximately 10 to 12 wings)

1 cup flour (you can use Fry Crisp or Kentucky Kernel breading)

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon light brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper


Directions

  • In a mixing bowl combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, light brown sugar,
  • Salt, and pepper  
  • I use my broiler pan. Spray the pan well with oil, pour a cup of water in the bottom of the pan.
  • Cut the extra flapper off your wings and rinse them.
  • In a larger mixing bowl combine your dry ingredients with the wings.
  • Mix well to coat.
  • Place your wings on the broiler pan.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

  • Bake for 25 minutes on the top shelf, flip the wings, and bake for another 25 minutes.
  • If you have a favorite sauce you like, brush your wings and bake for another 5 minutes.
