The Chillicothe Voice

Message from the Chamber of Commerce

Jan 30, 2025 01:25PM ● By Ginny Molleck, President, Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce

Our January member’s lunch was held at Odie’s on 2nd Street. Since I was traveling in January, Greg Owens, Vice President, stepped in for me to head up the meeting. Thank you, Greg.

Amber, our Chamber Facilitator, spoke at this luncheon and informed us about the many benefits of being a chamber member. We have some exciting new things planned for 2025. Now is the time to consider joining. It’s a great way to network with other business owners as well as giving back to our community. And if you would like to be a speaker at an upcoming luncheon, let us know.

Our next Chamber event is the Downtown Chocolate Tour on February 8th from 11am to 3pm. The Chamber and City Hall are selling 125 tickets for $20 each; a limited amount. Get them while they last!

Next month, we have an exciting new event this year. Cocktails for a Cause will be held at Three Sisters Park on Saturday, March 22 from 5:30–9pm which will be a fund-raising event for the non-profits in the community. This event will include a cocktail hour (with every purchased drink allowing you to give back to your favorite organization), a catered dinner, live music, a silent auction, and loads of fun while giving back. Tickets will go on sale on February 1st and will be $35 per person or $350 for a table of 8. We are looking for sponsors for this event as well. Follow our event on Facebook for which organizations are attending and ways to get involved. The event is open to the public.

Details of all our upcoming chamber events are listed in our monthly newsletter. If you don’t already subscribe, you can sign up by visiting the Chamber’s web page at www.chillicothechamber.com. As a member, you can post things in the newsletter; the deadline is the 20th of each month. Contact Amber at the Chamber office (309) 274-4556 or email at [email protected].
