New President for the CCFA

Hello, Chillicothe community! My name is Jen Gustafson, and I am honored to serve as the new President of the Chillicothe Community Firefighter Association (CCFA) and as an active firefighter for the Chillicothe Community Fire Protection District (CCFPD). I’m a proud mother of four and grandmother of four, and my journey here has been both challenging and rewarding.
Before moving to Chillicothe in 2019, I worked as a legal advocacy coordinator, helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. After relocating with my youngest daughter, Zella, I knew I wanted a career that allowed me to continue serving others. I decided to pursue firefighting, and within a month of moving here, I applied to join the Chillicothe Fire Department.
The training and experience have been intense but incredibly fulfilling. Over the years, I’ve earned numerous certifications and continue to learn from an amazing team of professionals who feel like family. Firefighting is one of the most rewarding and noble professions, where no two days are the same, and every call matters.
For those who may not be aware, the Chillicothe Community Firefighter Association (CCFA) was established to give back to the community we serve. We are committed to making our community a better place by supporting firefighters and local organizations that directly benefit the people, our town, and our future.
As the new President, I am excited to continue supporting our department, our community, and the dedicated men and women who serve alongside me. I’m also proud to show my children that with determination, anything is possible. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve!
