Chillicothe Rotary Celebrates 60 Years of Service

The Rotary Club of Chillicothe is proud to celebrate 65 years of service, having been chartered on May 23, 1960. As part of Rotary International, our club offers opportunities for members—and those interested in making a difference—to get involved in service that matters. We partner with local, national, and international leaders to exchange ideas, develop solutions, and take meaningful action.

Rotary brings together people who share a passion for service and a belief that helping others enriches our own lives. When we serve, we build stronger communities and deeper connections. By helping others, we reaffirm our shared humanity and create lasting change.

Rotarians are dedicated to protecting communities from preventable disease, improving maternal and child health, strengthening education and local economies, expanding access to clean water and sanitation, and promoting peace. We live by the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self,” and at every meeting, we reflect on the guiding principles of the Four-Way Test:

  • Is it the TRUTH?
  • Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  • Will it build GOODWILL and better FRIENDSHIPS?
  • Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

If you’re looking for a way to give back, grow personally and professionally, and be part of something bigger than yourself, consider becoming a member of the Chillicothe Rotary Club.
