Summer is just around the corner — which means school’s almost out, baseball is in full swing, and the sparkling waters of Shore Acres Pool are getting ready for you! We’re counting down the days to Opening Day on Saturday, May 31 (weather permitting), and our team is working hard to make this season one to remember.

Whether you’re soaking up the sun or making a splash, Shore Acres Pool is your go-to summer destination—open to the public seven days a week from 12pm to 6pm.

What’s New This Year?

Introducing: Sensory Swim Time
We’re proud to debut Sensory Swim Time, a specially designed, low-stimulation swim session created for individuals with sensory considerations and their families. During these peaceful sessions, the pool environment will be adjusted with all water features turned off, reduced noise, limited attendance, and no whistles or loud music—creating a calm and supportive space for relaxation and water fun.

Perfect for those with autism or sensory processing differences, families seeking a quieter experience, or anyone who prefers a gentler pool environment—this inclusive opportunity allows everyone to enjoy the water comfortably and confidently.

Dive Into Fun With Theme Days!
We’re turning up the fun with exciting Theme Days all summer long! Included with regular pool admission, these days are packed with personality, games, music, and good vibes:

• June 18, Swiftie Day – Dress in your favorite Taylor Swift era, test your trivia skills, play themed games, and sing your heart out to her greatest hits!
• July 16, Christmas in July – Get ready for mid-summer cheer with festive pool games, jolly tunes, and maybe even a visit from some of your favorite Christmas characters on summer vacation!
• August 6, Superhero Day – Capes, masks, and superpowers welcome! Whether you’re Marvel or DC, come dressed as your favorite hero and enjoy action-packed challenges and awesome prizes.

Senior Splash – Just for Our Active Adults
This summer, we’re also introducing Senior Splash, a refreshing new program tailored for older adults. Enjoy a relaxed, low-impact environment perfect for swimming laps, stretching, or simply floating and socializing. It’s a wonderful way to stay active, cool off, and connect with friends in a peaceful setting.

Perfect Your Strokes – Swim Lesson Registration Begins May 1st!
Registration opens May 1st for our popular Swimming Lessons! We offer both Group and Private Lessons to help swimmers of all ages and abilities grow in skill and confidence. Whether you’re brand new to the water or brushing up on technique, we’ve got the perfect fit for you.

Make It a Party – Private Pool Rentals
Planning a birthday bash or summer celebration? Shore Acres Pool is available for Private Rentals on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from June 20 – July 27. Host your own pool party and make a splash with your family, friends, sports teams, or social groups.

Dive-In Movie Night – Saturday, August 2
End the summer on a high note with our crowd-favorite Dive-In Movie Night! Float under the stars and enjoy a hit film on the big screen—right from your pool noodle or lounge chair. It’s the perfect blend of movie magic and summer fun. It’s going to be an unforgettable night at the pool!
