Each year the City of Chillicothe Council recognizes those who have made a positive impact on the City of Chillicothe community. At the April 28th city council meeting, Mayor Hughes presented the following awards:

The City of Chillicothe Council Members created the Civic Achievement Award to recognize an individual in the business community who steps out and performs a measure of service that exemplifies quality of civic pride and responsibility.

The 2024 Civic Achievement Award goes to Dave and Ginny Molleck of The Chillicothe Hometown Voice & Limelight Communications.

The City of Chillicothe Council Members created the Civic Volunteer Award to be given to an individual that has selflessly shown effort in civic activities and pride toward our community. 

The 2024 Civic Volunteer Award goes to Mame High.
