June, 96, of Pekin, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. She was born in Pilot Grove Township in Hancock County, IL on April 25, 1929, to Arlo and Mildred (Pitt) Hasten. She married Max Jaquet in Peoria on July 29, 1949. They celebrated nearly 68 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on April 13, 2017.

She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Harry and Harvey Hasten.

Surviving are her two children, Marsha (David) Crawford of Pekin and Gary Jaquet of East Peoria; one granddaughter, Natalie Rosser; and three step-grandchildren, Ryan, Jonathon and Kelly.

After raising her family, June worked for Caterpillar as an executive secretary, retiring in 1986. 

June cherished being a grandmother. She enjoyed traveling by motor home with Max and their family and was a member of the Caterpillar Retirees Social Club.

The family appreciates the care and love she received at Apostolic Christian Restmor.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Gary Deiters Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
