The City of Chillicothe offers a RESIDENTIAL SIDEWALK PROGRAM to help homeowners with the cost of installing or replacing residential sidewalks, curbs, and the sidewalk portion of driveways. The City will reimburse 80% of the cost, up to $2,000 per property (maximum of two properties per applicant). To participate, homeowners must obtain two competitive bids from City-approved contractors. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is encouraged. Whether you’re replacing an old sidewalk or adding a new one, the City is here to share the cost. Visit the City’s website for details and the application: www.cityofchillicotheil.org/residents/residential_sidewalk_program.php
