Cooking With Vickie Britton – A Simple Salad for Summer

Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup sour cream

¼ cup sugar

2 bunches of green onions

1 head of cauliflower

1 bunch broccoli

½ pound of bacon fried crisp

8 oz. Shredded cheddar cheese


Directions:

  • Fry bacon crisp, cool and cut into small pieces
  • Cut your broccoli, cauliflower, and green onions into small pieces
  • Place in a large bowl
  • Add your bacon and shredded cheese, toss together
  • In a small bowl, mix your mayonnaise, sugar, and sour cream 
  • Add the mixture to your vegetables 
  • Mix well, refrigerate one hour
