Welcome to the Vampire Ball

Sep 26, 2025 09:49AM ● By Chillicothe Players

The vampire queen of New York is hosting the ball at an exclusive club uptown. This is a place where night walkers and blood drinkers of all ages can celebrate the immortal life. A little after midnight, she returns to her dressing room after finishing a performance to discover a body drained of blood…

Was it one of the invited guests, or some party crasher who made their way past security? Was it a crime of passion or hatred? It’s up to you to find out! A prize will be awarded to the person who gets it right. If more than one guess is correct, the winner will be randomly drawn from the correct entries. If no one gets it right, the killer wins!

Chillicothe Players Theatre is presenting a murder mystery fundraiser at Grecian Gardens Restaurant on October 11, 2025. This has been so much fun for us and our guests that we have decided to make it an annual event! This year’s theme will be a vampire ball. Every registered guest will be given a character to play, and one of them will be the killer. Costumes are not required, but are definitely encouraged.

Tickets will include your meal and the event. Doors open at 6pm, and the event will begin at 6:30. Cash bar and light snacks will be available upon arrival, and dinner is expected at 7pm. The number of tickets is limited, so be sure to visit our website early for tickets and more information: chillicotheplayers.org. If the event is not sold out in advance, a small number of tickets may be available at the door.

Donations will be accepted for our lighting fund, set fund, or general operating expenses. There will also be a bucket raffle to raise additional funds. Raffle tickets will be $2.00 each or 6 for $10.00. We will have notepaper and pencils available if you want to keep track of the information/evidence you collect. Don’t forget to take some pictures with our spooky backdrop and post them to your social media. We’d love it if you shared them on our Facebook page as well! We can accept credit cards for amounts over $10.00 at the event, and a QR code will also be displayed for donations.
