The Chillicothe Voice

Chillicothe Rotary Club

On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the Chillicothe Rotary Club welcomed a group of German exchange students to our breakfast meeting at Grecian Gardens. It was a wonderful morning of conversation and connection, as we learned about one another’s cultures and experiences. Many of the students were already familiar with Rotary International and Rotary Clubs. Our local club contributed toward their field trip excursions during their stay.

Hosting the exchange students aligns with Rotary’s Areas of Focus on Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention and Education and Literacy, as it fosters cross-cultural understanding, global friendships, and goodwill among nations. The experience reminded us of how the power of simple human connection builds bridges both locally and globally for a more peaceful world. Plus, spending time with such bright, enthusiastic students was truly uplifting; their excellent English and excitement about visiting America made the morning especially memorable.
