Chillicothe Lions Club
If you enjoy a great view of the Illinois River and would like a great pancake and sausage breakfast, at a very good price, the Rotary and Lions Clubs are having their annual Eagle Watch Breakfast Saturday, the 14th of February at the Shore Acres Clubhouse, starting at 7am till 11am.
The Glen Oak Zoo mobile (Sponsored by CEFCU) will be there with a Red Tail Hawk and other animals found in the Illinois River area, along with the Audubon Society, Storyteller, Jamie Hafner of Riverlife Photography, as well as an Eagle Power Video from PBS and NOVA.
Tickets are available from the Rotary Club, Lions Club of Chillicothe, and at the door. Adults are $10.00, Kids 5-10 yrs. of age $5.00, 5 and under free.
For those who are interested in possibly joining one of the fine groups here in Chillicothe that help others in the community, come to the Eagle Watch Breakfast and see how two of those groups work together to help the community out. This would be a good event to attend and see how it is done. All proceeds from this event go to help others in Chillicothe and nearby communities.
