Pat died January 7, 2026 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. 

Pat was born in Chicago on March 27, 1949, to Thomas and Edith Kehr. She grew up in Chillicothe, and graduated from “Chilli High” in 1967. She earned her B.A. at Monmouth College, and her M.A. at Northwestern University. Pat was a teacher for many years. She taught in the Chicago area and also in Ocala and Crestview, Florida.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, John Kimble; her daughter, Emily Edmonds Hudson (Jonathan); her son, Adam Edmonds; her granddaughter, Lila Hudson; her sister, Joan (Kehr) Long; her brother, Tom Kehr; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in Crestview, Florida.
