Chillicothe Lions Club
The Lions Club would like to thank everyone who came to the Eagle Watch Day Breakfast put on by two of the many good groups here in town that help the community and surrounding area —The Rotary Club & The Lions Club of Chillicothe. It was a good time with a nice all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast with various shows/demonstrations put on by different sponsors. I hope everyone enjoyed it.
The money that was collected from this event will be like all our others. It will be spent to help people in Chillicothe and nearby communities. One example that comes to my mind—thanks to events like the Eagle Day Watch, the upcoming Mr. Chillicothe contest, and Candy Days—the Lions Club was able to help out some families last month who had the misfortune to have housefires. The people and organizations of Chillicothe helped out as much as they could, and the Lions Club was glad to be able to be one of those organizations, thanks to the people that help out by coming to and participating in our annual event I mentioned earlier. Thank you so much!
All this being stated, if you feel the need or urge to help out a little bit more and have some fun while doing it, please consider joining The Lions Club or one of our other fine organizations in town. Thank You.
